Certificate distribution for 2nd year Sharana V.T.C. boys

MUWCI’s project week at Sharana

This November a group of 15 young enthusiastic volunteers from MUWCI (Mahindra United World College India) Pune worked with us at Sharana. Sharana celebrates “Children’s day”

We celebrated Children’s day in various programs of Sharana. The “evening homework help centre” children did a beautiful cultural program following which we distributed notebooks, pens and shared a cake. Social work interns at Sharana

Sharana is always seeking out innovative ways to extend its support for women’s education. Twice a year, for three months, we accept interns pursuing their Bachelors in Social work, from Kasthurba College for Women, Villianur. The young women work with us on various programs during their internship.

Literacy Day Story-telling at Sharana

French Actress, Eva Darlan visits Sharana

We were very pleased to have Eva Darlan visit us at Sharana a couple of weeks ago.  For those who do not know Eva, she is a well known (TV and Cinema) French actress. She had come to Pondy to perform in a French auto-biographical monologue at the Alliance Francaise in Pondicherry.
