Sharana was honoured to welcome Mr. Etienne Rolland-Piègue, Consul General of France in Pondicherry and Chennai, to our Social Centre.
During his visit, Mr. Rolland-Piègue learned about Sharana’s Social Entrepreneurship Programme (SEP) and its work towards supporting women’s economic independence. He met with our Founder, Rajkala Partha; CFO, Murugaiyan; and CEO, Vandana Shah, who shared an overview of the programme.
Mr. Rolland-Piègue also met the women beneficiaries present at the Centre, expressing his pleasure at meeting them and wishing them success in their endeavours.
The visit also reflected the ongoing association between Sharana and the French Consulate, through our collaborative work focused on supporting children and their development.
It was a pleasure for Team Sharana to welcome Mr. Rolland-Piègue and share an insight into the work and initiatives carried out at our Centre.
