The sponsorship program social workers organized a meeting with parents of sponsored children, to plan logistics for the upcoming summer camp, as well as for the coming academic year.
Twenty students met with Vetri, John Peter, Ravi Anand (all Sharana social workers) and Mrs. Vijayalakshmi (a volunteer) at Sharana’s office on March 16 for nearly three hours, in order to discuss prospects for higher education.
The teachers from Sharana’s Early Childhood Programs, which includes a creche for babies and day care activities for older children, took our kids for a visit to the park this past week. Sharana’s Sponsorship Program is one of the largest, and longest-established program that the organization runs.
