A shout out to Vignesh- who stood 3rd in his entire school for the 12th standard examinations- a proud score of 478 /600 marks. The “Thinakaran” covered this in their paper and we are happy to share it forward. Earlier in the year 2016 -17

We are proud to share that the Sharana VTC program production unit –the boys along with Mani have successfully completed another project of the professional woodwork for an upcoming apartment. They created 30 shutter frames, 21 door frames, 11 window frames and 8 ventilation frames for the same. The order took little over 3 months… Read more »
Earlier this month, Sharana received 10 large cartons at the railway station- filled to the brim with Toys for children of all ages- all in good shape and ready to use. Very proud to share that as they recieved the results of their 12th standard exams- the students called up our team to inform them of the results. And they fared well!! All students who sat for the exams
-penned by board member Mrs Alo Sud It is the end of the day, working men and women need to unwind, a ritual of getting together to share a drink after work slowly establishes itself. Slowly this ritual takes precedence over hands on care and attention to the children back home.
“When arriving in Angalakupam for the first time I`m struck by a sensation of being very far away from home. Not to state the obvious, I`m not the first one to feel this, but my expectations of the children may be colored by this. Will Indian children be different from Scandinavian children?
Sharana started the Seeds of Change program in January 2014 that has been since its inception raising awareness on social causes such as waste management, hygiene and equality through sports and games. It has been conducted in the village of Angalakuppam
