In mid-June all the schools re-opened in Pondicherry after the annual summer holidays. The children are happy to go back to school and to meet old friends and teachers.
Like every year at Sharana we further support our sponsored children in their education, through the distribution of study material, notably bags, notebooks and other such items.
Last Saturday we did the first set of distributions with a small group of children. It is always a pleasure to see so many smiling children in Sharana all at once.
