It was a pleasure to have Ms. Isabelle de Marguerye, Deputy Consul-Social Affairs of the French Consulate visit Sharana in the end of July and spend most of her morning with us.
She was received by Mrs. Rajkala, founder/president of Sharana, as well as Mrs. Alo Pal- board member of Sharana. We were also very happy to have Ms Minou Roy, member of Sharana France with us on this occasion.
The Vice Consul took the time to understand the Sharana programs and asked many questions regarding family life in the slums and villages in and around Pondicherry.
She also visited the Gayatri House programs- where the staff members as well as the children were delighted to make her acquaintance.
We hope to have her visit again very soon.
