In the past 10 months our carpentry students have learnt about hand tools, hand-held machines, and also the larger machines under Mani’s supervision. They have also covered the theory portions of the same.
In the last 2 months the students will concentrate on creating small pieces of furniture, they will also learn the techniques of painting and polishing wood.
The year will finish with the students visiting various woodwork units in the month of June, and finding a confirmed job before they complete their course at Sharana.
We wish them all the very best for this last and most crucial lap in their training.
