Sharana launches Booklet of Stories of Women’s Struggles and Resilience during the Covid-19 Pandemic

By March 2020, the second year of loans had been given out as part of our Women Social Entrepreneurship program and most businesses had only just begun running smoothly. Everyone in Sharana was excited and looking forward to the upcoming year which was going to be full of trainings and events with our Women Entrepreneurs.

Sharana distributes over 22000 food packets since August 2020

Children’s Food and Nutrition remains a major concern in several communities Sharana works in. Before Covid-19, while most children used to have at least one meal at Sharana every day, the younger children used to have two meals and a snack at our centre.
