Program
Homework Help Centre

Homework help centres in the premises of Gayatri House as well as the Sharana administrative office are a constructive support system for our children to help them in completing homework, understanding better the concepts and ideas taught in class, supplementing and completing the school curriculum as well as providing much needed counselling and motivation and confidence to children appearing for their 10th and 12th standard board examinations.

Children troop into the premises after school to a glass of warm milk and snacks. Lessons and other activities such as Bharatnatyam classes and storytelling sessions are also included. This programme also prevents the girl child returning from school from being engaged in house hold chores. About 100 children attend the homework help centres between 5-630 pm with the assistance of 2 teachers
