The Gayatri House is the Sharana centre for street and slum children.
It consists of a creche, a preschool and a drop-in-centre open from Mondays-Saturdays for safe and open access to all the children in the street and slum children programs.
It also runs a homework help centre for slum children in the evenings.

Sharana receives several volunteers every year, particularly from Europe and the United States. Volunteers bring new energy and skill-sets to the organization, along with stories and experiences from other parts of the world.
